 How do I register to place a phone bid?

We offer our clients the opportunity to participate with a live representative via telephone to bid when they are unable to participate in-person.  

• Download and fill out our phone bid forms below so that we may reach you via telephone when your item(s) are on the auction block. Read over, print, and sign our Terms and Conditions, complete all the forms, and return the application package to chris@ameroauctions.com for approval. 

How do I place an absentee bid?

So you never have to miss out on your item when it's impossible to participate in any other method, we offer the convenience of bidding in absentia.  Here is our Complete Guide For Absentee Bidding:

• We have absentee bid forms available for download below so that you can place your absentee bid should you not be able to participate at our live auction in-person, via telephone or online. Read over, print, and sign Terms and Conditions, complete forms, and return application package to chris@ameroauctions.com for approval.  

 How do I register for live bidding?

We make it easy for you to register prior to the auction during our in-house preview periods and upon arrival auction day.

We offer online bidding through LiveAuctioneers and Invaluable.  Please follow the link for your online partner of choice to get pre-approved prior to the auction beginning.  We recommend registering at least 2 days prior to auction day.

What methods can I bid?

• We offer in-person, telephone, absentee, and online methods of bidding.

What is the Buyer's Premium?

• It depends on how you acquired your winning items, but all buyers agree to pay a buyer's premium based on hammer bid amounts as follows: 

1. In-Person: Twenty percent (20%) of the hammer price will be added to the successful bid. 3% discount for cash or check on day of auction. 
2. Phone or In-House Absentee:  Twenty percent (20%), regardless of payment method. 
3. Online with Live Auctioneers or Invaluable: Twenty five percent (25%), regardless of payment method. There are no discounts for bids placed through live online bidding platforms. 

Payment by Credit Card:

1. Credit card payments will include an additional 3% processing fee.

How do I receive my item(s)?

1. You can pick up at our gallery at 1540 N Lime Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34237.
2. We also offer economical delivery to Atlanta, GA for MOST auction purchases.
3. Otherwise, you will need to arrange for your own independent crater and/or shipper to pick up on your behalf from our gallery.  A list of resources is provided below.
